We absolutely love how these pants fit! They’re lightweight, roomy, and perfect for active play. However, now that my son is potty trained, we find we don’t use them as much. The lack of an elastic waistband makes them a bit tricky for him to manage on his own.
If the bow is tied loosely enough for him to pull the pants down, they don’t stay up during play. But if the bow is tight enough to keep the pants secure, he struggles to untie and retie them when using the bathroom. Once he learns to tie a bow, I’m sure these will be a staple in his wardrobe again.
Interestingly, we don’t have this issue with the terry cloth version of these pants. The plushness of that fabric seems to provide just enough grip and flexibility to make them easier to manage.

I love the fit of these pants for my toddler. He always looks so out together at school and I love that he can play, look great, and be comfortable.
